Thank you :)  I just wanted to post a big thank you for all the wonderful e mails that I have received. It is not easy to go, but I feel very loved and appreciated and I couldn't ask for more. They say that you never forget your first class, and I can attest to that. I have been so lucky to work with your children, they have brought so much happiness, laughter and rich learning to each day. I do hope that if you ever would like to, feel free to reach out to let me know new experiences or accomplishments your child has went through throughout the years. I would always love to hear about them. I feel so lucky and thankful to have had your child be part of my class, it has been such an amazing year. Thank you for all the support, and I wish you all the best end to this school year, as well as a great summer.  This week in Literacy:  This week in literacy we have been focusing on thick and thin questions. This is also another reminder from our Physical Education Teacher about gymnastics happening in the gym: Dear Parents and Guardians We have started our  gymnastics  unit in our regularly scheduled Physical Education classes. This unit will run until the end of January. Safety procedures are being carefully covered wit...

This week we learned how to take apart our numbers and add them into our totals practicing where our ones and tens go when we are adding our double digit numbers. We then moved on to use place value mats to build our numbers and solve them using addition strategies.  Have me draw a t chart and see if I can solve 30+ 22=  This week in Literacy:  This week in literacy we focused on reading an article about the water cycle. We took our time reading it all week so we knew the article inside out! After, we worked on filling in our graphic organizer and demonstrated the important details/supporting details within the article and summarized our article into a sentence.  This week in Inquiry:  Liquids This week we have explored liquids in numerous ways. Through a field trip to BOW HABITAT we were able to have hands on learning...
