Place Value, Summarizing, States of Matter, The Arctic
This week in Math:
This week in math we have been focusing on place value when solving addition problems. This week we learned how to take apart our numbers and add them into our totals practicing where our ones and tens go when we are adding our double digit numbers.
This week we have explored liquids in numerous ways. Through a field trip to BOW HABITAT we were able to have hands on learning opportunities to explore:

Today we made our very own water cycle bag! Ask me about the steps of the water cycle and what would happen if the water cycle STOPPED.
Tape it to a window in the house facing the sun and watch the water cycle happen!

This week in Literacy:
This week in literacy we focused on reading an article about the water cycle. We took our time reading it all week so we knew the article inside out! After, we worked on filling in our graphic organizer and demonstrated the important details/supporting details within the article and summarized our article into a sentence.
