Happy Tuesday!

Today we got to meet an Entomologist! He came to our classroom and showed us all the bugs he has collected throughout the years. He taught us some important facts about bugs, for example we learned there are 75 different lady bugs all throughout Alberta, and 27 kinds of bees.

In the afternoon, we talked about what we remembered about our conversation with the Entomologist and learned more about bees and ladybugs. Ask me what I remember, and see if I can tell you some special facts or something interesting that I learned.

In literacy we also have been starting to retell our stories using loose parts. We have been given some different materials and are using them to retell an important part of the story.

As well in Stem Bins today we had a challenge to create an insects habitat. We really enjoyed this challenge, and our next challenge will be to think of what we can add to our habitat that will make it more realistic.
