Happy Wednesday!
Hi!
Our Wednesday was filled with a lot of learning today. We are getting ready for our Terry Fox Run on Friday, as it will be a very fun and busy day.
Today in writing we talked about adjectives, and how they work to describe nouns. For example, we looked at a car and we talked about all the ways in which we could use adjectives to describe the car.
Challenge me tonight or this weekend to see if I can use adjectives to describe things around the house, or anything I may be interested in!
In math we have been working on organizing our materials within the classroom, we are now working on finding a total of how many materials we have. Today we got to talk to other people in the class and share our ideas on how we found our total for our materials, and how our friends within both classes may have done something similar or different.
Here are some photos of us working on our bins:
We also read the first four chapters of "James and The Giant Peach." While we listened to the story we sketched in our journals, we're very excited to read more tomorrow!
In science we looked words that describe bugs, or things that some bugs may do. We wrote down our words to expand our vocabulary.
Just a reminder that scholastic book orders have been sent home, if you do decide to order something please know that by cheque or paying online is how you can pay for the books. We cannot accept cash.
