Updates on this week
This week in Literacy: This week in literacy we have been learning about various character traits. We've been looking at Elephant and Piggy books, and describing both the Elephant and Piggy and what makes them unique as characters and how we would describe them when looking at outside and inside traits. This week in Inquiry: We also got to watch Bill Nye the science guy talk about heat and hot and cold temperatures. We learned three ways that heat transfers its energy: conduction, convection and radiation. We have also been working with Robots this past week and this week. This week since we felt more comfortable with the Robots we were given a challenge! With a partner we created one repeating pattern with our robot and a gro wing pattern. This was really tough but we were able to do it! Ask me about my pattern, and what kind was my favorite to make.
